The Indonesian Food and Cultural Festival (IFCF), which will be held in an authentic Indonesian environment, will also offer an opportunity to win a holiday in Bali. IFCF will take residence at Al Faisaliah Hotel, a Rosewood hotel, from March 18 to 27, during dinner at La Brasserie restaurant. Everyone who joins the culinary and cultural extravaganza will be given a chance to encounter Indonesia firsthand.

On the final day of the festival, the restaurant will raffle off a holiday for two in Indonesia. The package features round-trip tickets with Garuda Indonesia Airlines from Riyadh to Jakarta and Bali, with a three-night stay at the Sanur Beach Hotel in Bali.

The festival, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of Garuda Indonesia Airlines, will be attended by Dr Salim Segaf Al Jufri, the ambassador of Indonesia to Saudi Arabia, who will inaugurate the event. “We are excited to bring the rich, celebratory spirit of Indonesia to Riyadh with the arrival of the Indonesian Food and Cultural Festival,” said Wolfgang O Pachler, managing director for Al Faisaliah Hotel.

“Hotel guests and Riyadh residents will be able to sample authentic Indonesian dishes in a festive atmosphere, a very entertaining option for families.” The restaurant will feature traditional music and decorations as well as dance performances by the Indonesian school in Riyadh and Indonesian Rosewood staff on the opening night.

Admission to the festival is SR185 ($49.30) per person. A mix of buffet selections and live-cooking stations will represent the diverse cuisines of Java, Sumatra, and Bali as well as dishes representing the culinary styles of Indonesia’s 6,000 inhabited islands.
