Painting Learning at Buruan Village
Tour while learn how to paint. That kind of activity was conducted by students of Jakarta International School (JIS). On Tuesday (April 27) hundreds of JIS students learn to pain at Buruan Village, Blahbatuh Gianyar.
Hundreds of student from around the world looks enjoy painting bird kite as well as stones. They were having so much fun to lose track of time.
“I’m really happy to paint until I lose track of time,” said Yoan a student from Malaysia.
When asked for comment, the Manager of Taru Bali Art and Culture Creative, I Wayan Aksara stating that this kind of activity had been done since seven years ago.
According to Wayan, in a year, it is usually four to five group of student from around the world comes learn how to paint. Besides painting, generally they also learn on how to make sculpture and many others.
This activity is very positive to introduce Balinese art and culture to foreigner since they are child.
After learning to paint, those foreign students will be given certificate as a mark that they had learned how to pain in Bali. That certificate also has full meaning to add their learning value.
“Middle School Extended Study is the program name from that Jakarta International School,” explained Aksara.
