Ubud Hotel Occupancy Rate Decreased 5 Percent

Toward the incoming Galungan and Kuningan day, hotel occupancy in Ubud decreased 5 percent. This reduction has no influence with Galungan and Kuningan Day but it is very common to be happened in May.

“From previous years experiences, there is eventually no significant influence between number of tourists visiting with our feast,” confessed head of PHRI Gianyar, Dewa Putra Arimbawa when asked for confirmation on Sunday (May 9th) toward hotel rate occupancy toward the upcoming Galungan and Kuningan Day.

Then what is the obstacle for promotion? When asked about this question, Arimbawa mentioned that there is no problem until today but it was merely because the information still could no maximal reached our potential clients.
“There is no problem, it just not potential yet,” he said.

Meanwhile, some object tourists in Ubud are still stable such as in Monkey Forest and Padangtegal.
“It still stable with 400 to 500 visiting every day,” said the manager of Monkey Forest, I Wayan Selamet when asked for information in relation with number of visitor visiting Monkey Forest.

Moreover, Selamet said that usually in Galungan and Kuningan, the tourism objects in Ubud frequently visited by domestic people lived in Bali.

“Averagely we did not charge them with ticket, only asked for their kindest donation as they pleased to give,” he said.
