Human Dragon Sarcophagus Found
Sarchophagus or chest tomb with human head similar to dragon found at brick making area in Subak Bitera territory precisely at Jalan By Pass Dharma Giri Blahbatuh Gianyar.
It is uncertain yet the meaning and of that sarcophagus, it is due to the archeology team would check that historical object today, Monday (May 17).
Rain sprayed profusely made the area where that thousands years sarcophagus became tarnish. No police line around that historical object situated on the land belong to A.A. Gde Agung Suryaningrat. Around its surrounding, there are only brick setters busy with their job.
“Sorry sir we don’t know when exactly it was found, the problem is we had to work today,” said one of the brick setter on location who unwilling his name to be mentioned.
The same with Kapolsek Blahbatuh, AKP I Wayan Winaja Nata when asked for confirmation said that he did not know at all about that problem.
“I don’t know when does it found and where, I was attended bazaar in Keramas,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the location of that historical object found almost 100 meter from the discovery of sarcophagus with turtle head few months ago.
Confirmation then asked to Denpasar Archeology Research Institute, Bali, Dra. Ayu Kusumawati justified the founding of that historical object.
Still, she could not give lots information here regarding the research for that historical object merely begins today.
“As soon as we checked it thoroughly we’ll straightly delivering information,” she said.
At the brick-making center located at Subak Bitra, Blahbatuh, Gianyar before had been found three 2000 years sarcophagus.
Due to the people ignorance, two of them destroyed and made into brick. Those three sarcophagus found by brick worker from Lombok named Abdurrahman.
Inside the sarcophagus cavity, found several human grave stock that was 8 bronze bracelets, one belt, one spiral stone, one stone beads and three molar tooth.
The corpse position put on dorsal system or the body folded like baby in womb. The small sarcophagus (with 80-148 length) have the same characteristic with that found in Keramas, Gianyar in term of time and shape.
