Bali Open 2010 Table Tennis Competition

There are 8 table tennis association from outside Bali and 18 that are from Bali will participate in table tennis competition “Bali Open 2010.” The competition will be held on August 6-8 tomorrow.
“There are 8 table tennis association from Bali and 18 from Bali itself stating their cooperation in this competition,” general chairman Pengprov PTMSI Bali, Bintang Puspayoga accompanied by Competition Division Made Sudana at PTMSI secretariat Bali in Denpasar on Wednesday (August 4).
He added that for group competition followed by 26 group whilst male junior category enliven by 42 athletes, 21 athletes at female junior category and pro athlete for about 26 people.
Moreover, Bintang Puspayoga said that the installment of Bali Open National Competition 2010 on its first day will be held at the Merpati Sport Arena at Kargo Street Denpasar.
“On the first day, the opening will be combined with the inauguration of PTMSI Bali – Indonesian Table Tennis Association for Bali – boards by the central PTMSI board,” explained this former athlete in 1980’s.
Meanwhile, the second and the third days of competition will be held at Lila Bhuwana sport arena.
“Those athletes from Table Tennis Association outside Bali will be provided with transportation from their hotel straightly to the Merpati sport arena,” he said firmly.
It is due to the coordination simplicity and athletes arrival that already have been stay at the hotel around Lila Bhuwana sport arena.
“The most important thing that this Bali Open Table Tennis Competition could run well and become couching agenda for all athletes in Indonesia,” said Bintang Puspayoga.
Meanwhile, the Competition Division, Made Sudana stated that number of participants in this Bali Open 2010 has hit the target.
“Our target in every category is 25-30 people per group. If we make it more than that would make the match would become longer,” he explained.
So far, table tennis association outside Bali whom stating their participation in this competition are table tennis association from Rolas Jatim, Yogyakarta, NTB, Tirosa of Kupang, Seruyan of Middle Kalimantan, Donic of DKI Jaya, Tri Dharma Malang and Setyo Club Jakarta.
Furthermore, those 18 associations from Bali are Buruwan Sanur, Rajawali Denpasar, Klungkung, Rajawali Sading Badung, Dewata Denpasar, Telkom Bali, Saraswati Denpasar, Buleleng, Sepa Denpasar, Binsar Denpasar, Warrior Badung, Singasari Badung, Baka Gianyar, Mandala and Kartika Denpasar as well as Jimbaran table tennis association.
