HPI Bali Launches Cakrawala Magazine
Tour Guide Group Indonesia (HPI) Bali publishes quarterly Cakrawala magazine whose prime edition printed 4,000 copies. The magazine priced Rp30,000 per piece as it launched in Cultural Village Kertalangu, Denpasar on Wednesday. The magazine contains 100 pages of supportive advertisements. The advertisements are coming from tourism companies such as tour agencies, tour guide, souvenir center, art shop, restaurant but also state organization.
“It is our potential. They are supporting this magazine. This media is being our communication facility to introduce our tourism sector to other,” said the Editor of Cakrawala Magazine, Amos Lillo who is also the chairman of Public Relationship Department of HPI Bali. The cover of this magazine is describing the photo of Batur Mountain and Batur Lake in Bangli Regency entitled ‘Kintamani Bersemi Kembali’ (Blooming Kintamani).
Bangli Regent I Made Gianyar is being the only region headman in Bali whom attending this event. “We hoped it is being our first start to resurrect Kintamani tourism,” said him. The front page of the magazine contains the greeting of Cakrawala Caretaker Sang Putu Subaya who is also the chairman of DPD HPI Bali. He also mentioned the result of Regional Deliberation VIII which is messaged to re-distribute abandoned press media.
Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika represented by the chairman of Tourism Department Ida Bagus Subhiksu said the magazine publishing will help tourism sector by promotion. Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry Mari Elka Pangestu also reminding readers about the importance of tour guide control in accord with Laws Number 10/2009 about Tourism.
